Daniele Oppioli
Counselling & Psychotherapy Online

West London: Hammersmith & Fulham

Hello my name is Daniele Oppioli and I am a fully qualified and accredited Integrative Psychotherapist (MSc) and Psychodynamic Counsellor (PGDip).

I offer weekly psychotherapy and counselling online (Zoom or Skype) or at my private practice in West Kensington (nearest tube West Kensington, Earls Court, Barons Court and Kensington Olympia).

Thank you for visiting my website!

At times, we may find ourselves in very difficult situations in life. When we are unable to move forward some professional help may be needed.

Counselling-Psychotherapy is a talking therapy in which you are encouraged to explore your problems and feelings, their possible connection to past experiences and early relationships and discover new ways of being and relating to the world.

Often when we experience difficulties in life we may have a tendency to withdraw from others and feel scared to approach counselling because of wrongly attached stigma.

There is nothing wrong with needing help when things are not going well and giving yourself the opportunity for change.

Psychotherapytransforms.com reflects my profound belief that counselling and psychotherapy can truly offer a very "transformative" experience by supporting you to embrace your suffering, unravel mystery and discover more fulfilling ways of being with yourself and others.

You don`t need to be alone and I would be most happy to accompany you in this journey!

How I work

How I work

"The purpose of psychotherapy is to set people free"
(Rollo May)

To me effective therapy is not about diagnosis and certainly not about the cure. My therapeutic approach aims at supporting you in discovering and making the meaning of your experiences and your felt sense of self, as well as becoming even more aware of your beliefs and understanding how they can shape your emotions, actions and experiences in life.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a non-judgmental, highly confidential and safe environment where you will be fully supported in exploring your challenges at your own pace, getting to the sources of your depression, doubts and insecurities and allowing you to develop a reparative awareness of those patterns that were not available to you before.

My therapeutic approach is “multidimensional integrative” which means that I creatively use different theoretical techniques ranging from psychodynamic to humanistic and existential, depending on the presenting issues, client`s desires and a number of sessions agreed.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and UK Council for Psychotherapy and work within their ethical framework, thus making sure that the best interests of my clients are always put first.

How I work

"The most common form of despair is not being who you are"
(Søren Kierkegaard)

One of my fields of interest and expertise is working with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, non-binary clients to help them to come to terms with their gender identity-sexual orientation and a wide range of mental health issues.

I have a deep understanding of their struggles, challenges, dilemmas and have been helping them with following presentations: sex, drugs and alcohol addictions, sexual dysfunctions, social exclusion, same sex relationship problems, HIV and stigma related issues, discrimination, abuse, bullying associated with sexual orientation, gender dysphoria and transition, as well as the struggle to come out or emerge as non-binary.

I also supported clients facing kink, polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships.

The safety of our relationship will hopefully give you the sense of safety to explore these issues and to find the inner strength to bring your real self into the world.
